Senior law enforcement officials from across the Asia-Pacific region will gather in Bangkok for the 26th FBI NAA Asia Pacific Conference, focusing on cybercrime, human trafficking, money laundering, narcotics enforcement, and other emerging transnational threats in the digital era.

BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand will host the 26th FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) Asia Pacific Chapter Retraining Conference from June 7-10, 2026, bringing together senior police leaders and law enforcement representatives from across the Asia-Pacific region to strengthen cooperation against transnational crime in the digital age. According to Pol. Lt. Gen. Achayon Kraithong, Commissioner of the Narcotics Suppression Bureau and head of public relations for the event, the conference will be held at the Grande Centre Point Lumphini under the theme “United in Action: Combating Transnational Organized Crime in the Digital Age” and the motto “Together We Grow, Together We Protect.”

Organized through cooperation between the FBI National Academy Associates Thailand and the Royal Thai Police, the conference serves as a major platform for law enforcement agencies to exchange expertise, strengthen professional networks, and develop coordinated responses to increasingly sophisticated transnational criminal threats. This year’s gathering carries special significance as it marks the 40th anniversary of the FBINAA Asia Pacific Chapter. Discussions will focus on key challenges facing law enforcement agencies worldwide, including cybercrime, human trafficking, money laundering, narcotics trafficking, and other forms of organized transnational crime.

Participants will share investigative techniques, best practices, and operational experiences while exploring ways to enhance cross-border cooperation and intelligence-sharing capabilities to improve regional security and public safety. Pol. Lt. Gen. Achayon said Thailand’s selection as host reflects growing international confidence in the capabilities of the Royal Thai Police and reinforces the country’s role as a regional hub for security cooperation and law enforcement collaboration.

“The opportunity to host this conference highlights Thailand’s readiness to serve as a center for international cooperation in security, law enforcement, and responses to emerging threats throughout the Asia-Pacific region,” he said.

The FBI National Academy Associates is a global professional organization comprising more than 14,000 senior law enforcement officials from 173 countries who have completed advanced training at the FBI National Academy in the United States. The FBINAA Asia Pacific Chapter represents members from 49 countries and is widely regarded as one of the most influential law enforcement networks in the world. Officials said the conference is expected to strengthen international partnerships and foster long-term cooperation against evolving criminal threats that increasingly impact security, economic stability, and public safety across borders.
