Officials from the Thailand Hajj Affairs Office inspect healthcare operations in Mecca, ensuring Thai pilgrims receive full medical support and emergency care throughout the Hajj journey.

MECCA, Saudi Arabia – The Thai Hajj Affairs Office visited Thai medical personnel in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, to support and oversee healthcare services for Thai pilgrims during the Hajj season.

​On May 3, 2026, Head of the Thailand Hajj Affairs Office Muhammadamin Chenu led a delegation to the Thai Hajj Medical Office in Mecca to inspect public health services for Thai pilgrims. Dr. Zulkifli Yusof, Head of the Thai Hajj Medical Office, and his team of doctors, nurses, and staff welcomed the delegation.



​The Head of the Thai Hajj Affairs Office stated that the visit enabled discussions on improving convenience for pilgrims, with a focus on health and safety to ensure they can perform their religious duties in good physical condition.

​Dr. Zulkifli Yusof confirmed that the medical office has prepared adequate personnel, medical supplies, and an effective patient referral system to local Saudi Arabian hospitals to manage emergencies efficiently. The office also plans to deploy mobile health units to visit pilgrims at their hotels and residences, ensuring accessible care throughout the season. (NNT)
