Pattaya officials and representatives of relevant agencies meet at City Hall to coordinate preparations for Diwali Pattaya Festival 2026, scheduled for November 13–15.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City is coordinating with government agencies, event organizers and the Thai-Indian Business Association of Pattaya to prepare for Diwali Pattaya Festival 2026, scheduled for November 13–15 along Central Pattaya Beach. Mayor Poramet Ngampichet has assigned Wisitsak Wongworachat, director of the Tourism Development Division, to chair a preparatory meeting at Pattaya City Hall, bringing together city councilors, officials and relevant agencies to coordinate arrangements for the three-day celebration.

The festival aims to promote tourism, stimulate the local economy and strengthen cultural ties between Thailand and India. Organizers plan to present the Hindu festival of lights in an international setting, attracting residents and visitors while creating business opportunities for local traders and tourism operators. Preparations cover event facilities, electrical systems, security, traffic management, medical and emergency services, sanitation, waste collection, mobile toilets, public address systems and publicity. Authorities are working to ensure the event is safe, orderly and welcoming for visitors.

Central Pattaya Beach will host Diwali celebrations alongside beach volleyball and Chonburi Coffee on the Beach, requiring careful coordination of space, traffic and visitor safety.

Particular attention is being given to managing beach space because two other major events will take place in the same area from November 13–15. These include a beach volleyball competition organized by the Volleyball Association of Thailand in front of Central Pattaya, and the Chonburi Coffee on the Beach event opposite the Hard Rock Hotel. Pattaya City is coordinating with the organizers to allocate space for sales booths, equipment and decorations while maintaining public access and ensuring that the events do not interfere with one another or inconvenience beachgoers.

The city aims to deliver a successful Diwali celebration that supports local businesses, adds to Pattaya’s international cultural calendar and reinforces its position as a destination for major tourism events.
