Visitors flock to Pattaya Beach on the final day of the “EEC The Food Runway” festival, enjoying more than 120 food stalls, seaside vibes, and a fresh take on the city beyond its beaches.

PATTAYA, Thailand — Crowds are expected to pack Pattaya Beach today, May 4, as the “EEC The Food Runway” festival wraps up its four-day run, offering a vibrant mix of food, tourism, and seaside entertainment.

Held along Pattaya Central Beach Road from May 1–4, the event has attracted both locals and tourists with free entry and a lively atmosphere featuring more than 120 food and beverage vendors.

The festival highlights the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) region’s culinary diversity, bringing together popular street food, local specialties, and creative dishes in a beachfront setting. Visitors have also enjoyed live performances, photo spots, and a relaxed coastal vibe that showcases Pattaya beyond its traditional image.

Organizers say the event aims to promote tourism in a more diverse and accessible way, encouraging visitors to explore Pattaya as a lifestyle and cultural destination—not just a beach getaway.

Today marks the final opportunity for visitors to experience the festival, with many expected to turn out in the evening to enjoy cooler temperatures, ocean views, and the bustling food scene before the event closes.

With strong turnout throughout the weekend, the festival has reinforced Pattaya’s appeal as a year-round destination, blending food, entertainment, and seaside charm into one dynamic experience.
