BANGKOK, Thailand – The 10th MICE City Summit, organized by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), has established a landmark collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Interior, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), and the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC).
The strategic alliance focuses on developing high-performance city leaders and a “City Data Intelligence” ecosystem to elevate Thailand’s urban centers to global standards.
The initiative leverages the successful “Songkhla Model,” which ranked Songkhla 3rd among Asia’s most sustainable MICE destinations, as a blueprint to drive grassroots economic growth across 10 designated MICE cities.
The partnership, by integrating policy, education, and vocational training, is expected to help transform traditional urban management into a powerful engine for national competitiveness and equitable income distribution. (NNT)
