The “EEC The Food Runway” festival takes over Pattaya beachfront from May 1–4, featuring over 120 food stalls, live concerts, and a unique food-fashion runway contest.

PATTAYA, Thailand – A major food and lifestyle festival is set to return to Pattaya, bringing together food, music, and creative showcases under the “EEC The Food Runway” event from May 1–4, along Pattaya Central Beach Road.

The four-day festival, held under the theme “Colorful Eastern Thailand,” will feature more than 120 food vendors offering a wide variety of dishes from the eastern region, including local specialties, fresh seafood, and popular street food selections. Entry to the event is free of charge.

One of the key highlights is the “EEC Food Runway Contest” scheduled for May 1, where participants will transform food concepts into fashion-inspired runway creations, blending culinary culture with creative design in a unique showcase.

The event will also feature daily mini concerts throughout the four-day period, with performances from popular Thai artists including YOURMOOD (May 1), HERS (May 2), Kanthong Thungngern (May 3), and Planil Temban (May 4), attracting both local residents and tourists.

Organizers say the festival aims to promote tourism and highlight the diversity of food culture in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), while offering visitors a new way to experience Pattaya beyond its beaches.

In addition to food and performances, the beachfront area will be transformed into a night festival atmosphere, allowing visitors to enjoy seaside dining, live music, and scenic views well into the evening.

Officials expect the event to draw strong attendance over the long weekend, reinforcing Pattaya’s position as a key destination for culinary tourism and lifestyle events in Thailand.
