PATTAYA, Thailand – Reporters were informed by Krua Chokchai Restaurant in Soi Kor Phai, Pattaya, that a Canadian donor had stepped forward to support local charity efforts after reading a news story displayed on the restaurant’s wall from the local newspaper Pattaya Mail, on March 5.
Moved by the story highlighting the restaurant’s community outreach work, the Canadian donor contributed funds to purchase 65 kilograms of jasmine rice, which will be delivered to children under the care of the Human Help Network Foundation Thailand (HHN).
The act of generosity follows years of ongoing charity activities carried out by the Krua Chokchai team. Since opening their restaurant in Soi Kor Phai more than five years ago, the team has consistently organized social initiatives, including a charity visit to Ban Nam Sai School in Rayong on July 21, 2023, where they provided assistance and support to local students.
For this latest donation, Krua Chokchai Restaurant and Pattaya Good News served as the bridge connecting the donor’s kindness to the children at HHN. The foundation provides care, education support, and welfare assistance for vulnerable children in Pattaya and nearby areas. Food assistance remains one of the essential factors in improving the children’s quality of life and ensuring proper nutrition.

March 5 also coincides with National Press Day in Thailand, making the story particularly meaningful. The news team expressed pride in helping share stories of compassion and generosity, encouraging a culture of giving and community support.
