SI SA KET, Thailand – Si Sa Ket Governor Anurat Thamprajumjit has visited 21 evacuation centers in Phayu district to assess conditions and provide support to residents displaced by the ongoing emergency. During the visit, he made clear the need for clear, consistent communication so communities understand the situation and can cooperate effectively with response operations.
Anurat instructed all agencies to maintain strong public-service standards, ensuring that meals remain varied and of good quality and that drinking water is stocked for at least a three-day supply at all times. Staff were directed to replenish food, water, and essential items before reserves run low to guarantee uninterrupted support for evacuees. (NNT)
