PATTAYA, Thailand – Tuesday 12 August promised a lovely Mother’s Day at Plutaluang Golf Club with clear skies and sunshine. After some time away from the Navy course, players tackled the North and West loops. The course was in excellent condition, featuring smooth greens and a gentle breeze to offset the heat.

The competition was tight, with Sam Jeffery and Neale Savery trading strokes. Sam led by a single point on the front nine, and both matched each other on the back nine with 20 points each. Sam claimed victory with 36 points, narrowly ahead of Neale with 35. Paul Carver, still searching for his rhythm, took home the “spoon,” though it seems he might be keeping it warm for next week.
