Police wives make lunch for hundreds

The wives of Chonburi police officers hosted lunch for hundreds of residents of the Karunyawet Home for the Disabled.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Jitti Rodbangyang, commander of Provincial Police Region 2, and his spouse, Sumalee, chairwoman of the Region 2 Police Wives Club, hosted the Jan. 31 luncheon.

They were welcomed by Thanantathep Wongjintana of Chonburi’s Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities office, staff and residents.

The police wives brought red pork and rice, pad Thai noodles, ice cream, snacks and beverages.

Sumalee, who was celebrating her birthday with the party, presented a donation of 30,000 baht and supplies to the home’s 395 residents.
