Students from the Assumption College Sriracha visited the
Dusit Thani College Pattaya where they were welcomed by instructors
and staff who gave them a grand tour of the educational facilities. The
Dusit Thani College, a private educational institution accredited by the
Commission on Higher Education of Thailand, offers programs particularly in
the hospitality industry including bachelor’s degrees in Thai and
international programs, and Master’s degrees in Hotel and Restaurant
Management.

Staff of the Amari Watergate Bangkok organised a
birthday celebration recently for GM Pierre Andre Pelletier (centre with the
champion’s trophy) claiming him to be their “Best Boss Ever”. Long-time
friends in Pattaya including the Pattaya Mail and Pattaya Blatt also wish
you many happy returns.

Harald Feurstein (standing left), GM of the Hilton
Pattaya led his team of athletes to compete in the King’s Cup Pattaya
Marathon 2012 recently. The annual event saw more than 10,000 runners and
walkers compete this international competition.

Executives of Air Astana (in blue shirts) Suleeporn Art-ar-sa, Sathatip
Pheungamrit, Jariya Phaetthayanon, and Sopitsuda Chusanathas paid a courtesy
call on Massic Travel, the Eastern Seaboard’s friendliest and most
popular travel agents recently. They brought along attractive summer deals
for the Massic team to offer their clients. The visitors were welcomed by
Afsar Ali Khan, Marlowe and Vikrom Malhotra. Massic Travel is located at 2
locations, near Grand Sole Hotel and in the Pattaya Focus Shopping Arcade on
Second Road, near Tiffany’s cabaret.

Nigel Cornick, CEO of Kingdom Property spoke to
Tony Malhotra Assistant MD of Pattaya Mail Media Group about his upcoming
two billion baht ‘Southpoint Pattaya’ project in the Pratamnak area. The

The NBTC Commission held a series of meetings at the
Royal Cliff Hotels Group recently. GM Christoph Voegeli (centre) was on
hand to welcome NTC’s Committee Chairman and NBTC Deputy Chairman, Col.
Settapong Malisuwan, Ph.D. (2nd right), NBTC’s commissioner, Dr. Suthiphon

Michael Delargy, GM of the Sheraton Pattaya Resort
led his associates in participating in the “Make a Green Choice (MAGC)”
program recently. MAGC is part of Starwood’s sustainability program, in
order to reduce water consumption, energy usage and help keep chemicals out
of our environment. By declining housekeeping services for just one night,
almost 40 gallons of water, enough electricity to run a laptop for 10 hours,
25,000 BTUs of natural gas and 7 oz. of chemicals can be saved.

Representatives of the Rotary Club of Jomtien-Pattaya,
headed by Philip Wall Morris, Service Projects Chairman, Brendan Kelly and
Ronny Heltne presented a Plaque of Appreciation to Neoh Kean Boon, resident
manager and Waran Chalermrithichai, Director of Administration of the
Dusit Thani Pattaya in gratitude for the hotel’s kind sponsorship and
generous support of the 2011 Rotary Charity Cross Bay Swim recently. Funds
raised from this event helped to provide clean drinking water to thousands
of children and residents of the outlying communities in Thailand.
