Naklua hosts Chinese New Year celebration Jan. 22-23

Naklua’s Lan Po Park again will host Pattaya’s annual Chinese New Year celebration Jan. 22-23 featuring music, contests and, of course, dragons.

Pattaya Deputy Permanent Secretary Apichart Puetpan announces details of the Chinese New Year celebration.

Pattaya Deputy Permanent Secretary Apichart Puetpan announced details of the festival Jan. 6, laying out a schedule that includes a “Chinese Girl Pageant,” concerts from numerous artists, merchandise sales, food and shows with Chinese lions and dragons.

The annual celebration draws both Chinese tourists and Thais of Chinese extraction. For more information, contact the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Pattaya office at 038-427-667.
