Indian drugged, robbed by Beach Road prostitute

An Indian tourist who picked up a Beach Road prostitute was apparently drugged and robbed by her.

Friends discovered Jasim Khamis Lal, 36, unconscious in his Town Inn hotel room Dec. 6 hours after the streetwalker he brought to his room had left. He was treated at Pattaya Memorial Hospital, but was not immediately able to give police a statement.

Police said it was still unknown how much the Indian had lost in the drug-and-rob caper.
