The Amari Resort Pattaya management team, led by
Makoo Techasophon, deputy general manager, were granted an audience with HRH
Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the Dusit Palace to present the proceeds
collected from ‘Longest Chocolate Sacher Passion Fruit Cake’ charity fund
raiser to be utilized in support of the Fund for the Development of Children
and Youth in remote areas, under the patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri
Sirindhorn.

Dusit Thani Pattaya is joined by hotel management in giving a warm
welcome to Junie Jalandoni (5th left), VP and Group
Head of Ayala Land, Al Legazpi (3rd right), COO of
Ayala Hotels Inc and Mrs Evelyn Singson (4th right),
vice chairman and director of PHI, the owners of Dusit Thani Manila. The
three VIPs were on a visit to Thailand recently to discuss possible joint
projects in the hospitality business between Dusit International and the
Philippines. They also attended the graduation ceremony of Dusit Thani
College in Bangkok and later visited other Dusit International hotels and
resorts in Bangkok, Pattaya and Hua Hin.

“Sweet White”, the only chic beach party in Pattaya was
held at the Beach Club of the Pullman Pattaya Aisawan on the first
Saturday of February. More than 300 people attended the fun evening. They
were entertained with fabulous music as played by DJs The Double Sweets and
Rocky Bongoboy. A host dignitaries were seen enjoying themselves including
H.E. Felipe Frydman, Ambassador of Argentina, H.E. Paulo Cesar Meira de
Vasconcellos, Ambassador of Brazil, Runcha Boribalburibhand, Ramida (Becky)
Russell Maneesatiean, Thospol Sirivivat, Yoshi C-Quint, Pisan (Mai)
Srimankong along with many other celebrities.
Saming Suebsakul (centre), manager of activities and
public relations of the Diana Group of Hotels and Resorts led his
team on a study tour of the traditional and cultural Ban Diam Home Stay
business in Udon Thani and in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic recently.
He reported that the home stay business was very popular amongst foreign
travelers.
Saichol Panchumchit, Thai Health Insurance manager of
Bangkok Hospital Pattaya presented an ambulance to Prasit
Thongthitcharoen, chairman of the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation,
Pattaya, for the use in the service of people in need of urgent medical
attention on Koh Larn.
