Dusit Thani Pattaya held its traditional Christmas Eve celebration at The Point, its extended terrace overlooking the expansive views of Pattaya Bay. Highlights of the event included an extensive buffet, song and dance performances, acrobat show, Santa bearing gifts for the kids and lucky draws. Nichaya Chaivisuth (3rd right), director of communications & PR for Amari Watergate Bangkok recently hosted a birthday party for Salinee Panyarachun (3rd left) and Pusita Kanoktadarat (left) at Heichinrou Restaurant at Amari Watergate Bangkok. Celebrities Somsak Chalachol (2nd right), Supee Pongpanich (2nd left), and Dr. Krittika Kongsompong (right), attended as guests of honor.


Achana Snitwongse Na Ayudhaya, managing director of the Montien Hotel, Pattaya recently hosted a birthday party for Per Krogh at the Verandah Coffee Shop in the hotel. Per Krogh is a special guest, who stays at the Montien Hotel on his regular bi-annual visits to Pattaya.


Sunbeam Hotel Pattaya recently performed a merit making ceremony on the occasion of the hotel’s 20th Anniversary. On the day, 39 monks were invited to perform the ceremony. Also, Prasong Suksrikarn hotel president and Rungthip Suksrikarn, vice president led the staff to offer food and utilities to the monks in front of the hotel and were joined by the community living in Pattaya Soi 8. On this occasion the hotel also joined hands with Baan Boonraksa Rayong to donate educational material and 300,000 baht cash to Mahathai Blind School Naklua.

Lloyd Sherman earned the Jameson’s Bob the Barman Man of the Match Award for F.C. Nova last Saturday 9. It was quite an achievement as F.C. Nova, under the watchful eye of Coach Stuart Levy, scored five goals on their comeback for the second half of the season. F.C. Nova are now in second place in Division Two of the MBMG League. Anybody who would like a game for F.C. Nova should come to Jameson’s Pattaya and contact Kim Fletcher or Stuart Levy.
