The general manager of Dusit Thani Pattaya, Chatchawal Supachayanont,
recently announced the appointment of Mr. Michael A. Ganster as Executive
Assistant Manager of the five-star, 462-room property in Pattaya. Mr.
Ganster, an Austrian national, will assist the general manager in the
overall operations of the hotel and will oversee the implementation of new
initiatives being launched by Dusit Thani Pattaya.

Mr. Ganster brings a strong background in operations to his position. Prior
to joining Dusit Thani Pattaya, he was the Rooms Division Manager of Dusit
Thani Dubai, UAE. His hospitality career has seen him excel in overall
responsibility of rooms division, front office, guest relations, concierge,
administration, security, housekeeping and engineering.
His experience in hotel operations also includes finance, sales, marketing
as well as food and beverage. He has worked with a chain of international
hotels including Hilton Frankfurt, Hilton Kensington in the UK, and Raffles
L’Ermitage, Beverly Hills, USA.
His appointment will further strengthen Dusit Thani Pattaya’s recognition as
one of the city’s prime venues in Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and
Exhibitions (MICE) business.
