Montien Hotel, led by Achana Snitwongse Na Ayuthaya, recently held a birthday party to wish Stella Kelly, a long time guest of the hotel, a very happy birthday during her stay at the hotel. Mrs. Kelly was well accompanied by her friends, family and hotel staff.


Patrick’s Belgian Restaurant & Café (Patrick-owner, left) has recently been awarded the “Award of Appreciation” for delivering excellent buffets and catering for the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) during 2007, presented by Junior Vice Commander BK Hubbard from the VFW 9876 Pattaya.


Mr. & Mrs. Stuart Young celebrated their eleventh wedding anniversary at Jameson’s the Irish Pub, Pattaya on Wednesday January 16, which also just happened to be Moo Young’s birthday. Pictured here are the lovely birthday girl Moo, fat landlord Kim Fletcher and Stuart “The Builder” Young.


All Ireland Hurling Champions Kilkenny recently visited the Irishman Bar & Restaurant on their team holiday with wives and girlfriends in Pattaya. They are shown here presenting Billy (bar owner) with a signed shirt.

 President of AustCham Thailand Gary Woolacott (seated right), along with the chamber partners recently presented Mrs. Lampueng Srimeechai (seated left), from the Office of Kanchanaburi Educational Service Area 1, 730,000 baht for the Bakery Training Centre, witnessed by H.E. Australian Ambassador William Paterson (standing 4th from left), director, teachers, and students of the Kanchanaburi School for the Deaf. The centre will help school students to further their studies and get some income through selling the bakery products to local market.
