Airship crashes in field shortly before HM the King’s birthday celebrations

Thailand’s first airship, the Akara Skyway, crashed into a field shortly before it was due to take part in a show held in honor of the birthday of His Majesty the King.
The airship came down in a cassava field on the Thungklom-Tanman Road in Ban Thungklom Tanman at around 10 a.m. on December 5.

Chef’s Association bakes 61 piece cake in honor of HM the King’s birthday

An enormous cake compilation, comprising sixty-one 15” x 15” sections, each baked by a different hotel or restaurant outlet, was presented on December 4 at the Redemptorist School by the Chefs’ Association of Pattaya City and the East Coast.

Hard Rock Hotel organized its 5th Christmas Charity Light Up on December 1, with General Kanit Permsub, Deputy Chief Aide-De-Camp and General to His Majesty the King, presiding over the ceremony. Mayor Niran Wattanasartsathorn and Deputy Mayor Werawat Khakhay were also present.
