Announcements
Like every year during the festive season, Thai Garden
Resort collects donations for its "Toy for Joy" charity
project. We aim at assisting those children that need help. For this year we
select for the orphans and half orphans of the Sutthawas School here just
outside Pattaya. Organized by their music teacher, several of the children
will perform some Christmas songs on 24 th
of December from 7 p.m. onwards at the Lobby of the Thai Garden Resort.
Afterwards there will be a visit by Santa Claus on a motorbike. He brings
presents to the kids. Everybody is invited to place donations under the
Christmas tree at the Thai Garden Resort Lobby before Christmas or hand it
over to Brigitta. Thanks for your help!
Clubs
The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats
Club (PCEC) will be on Sunday, December 17th. The Club meets every Sunday
morning at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant on the north end of Beach Road in the
grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort. The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m.
with a buffet breakfast available from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Everyone is warmly
welcome. This week the speaker will be a medical specialist from Bangkok
Pattaya Hospital who will provide invaluable advice and information regarding
health topics. This will be followed by the usual Open Forum and update on
happenings in and around Pattaya. A full report appears each week in Pattaya

Rotary Gala Christmas Party: As every
year at Christmas time the Rotary Club of Taksin-Pattaya holds its annual Gala
Christmas Party at the Markland Hotel and Spa (Soi 1, Beach Road) on the 27th
floor (grand terrace) on the 16 Dec 2006. Start time is 7pm, and

work by resident & guest artists - "Pictures at an Exhibition".
This exhibition launches a new season of the gallery’s artists and
