Announcements

Mabuhay Diving Club needs diver-volunteers to do underwater clean-up of Pattaya Bay every Saturday. All equipment, boat, food, etc., provided. Please call Steve at 0-4725-3230.

The organizers wish to announce that the airport visit trip to the new Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport scheduled for Thursday July 27 is now fully booked up. As a reminder to those who have already purchased tickets, the coach will leave from outside the Markland Hotel, Soi 1 at 8am. Please arrive in good time in order to avoid being left behind.

The next meeting of Pattaya City Expats Club will be on Sunday 23rd July. As usual starting at 10,30 with a buffet breakfast available from 9.30 at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant n the Grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort. The topic presented by the speaker will be Feng Shui. Mr Bill Kane is an authority on this issue which has a growing awareness among the expat community as many more seek to settle here and wonder why things “go wrong”. This is an opportunity to find out just how the many issues affecting life in general might be put right just by realigning your bed! Bring your questions and see what Bill has to say. There will be the usual Open Forum and update on happenings in and around Pattaya. Entertainment

On Sundays Jameson’s the Irish Pub will be having magic shows starting at 2.00 p.m. with the PR Magic Show hosted by Dr Magic and Son. There will be three half hour shows during the afternoon with the children having their own room in the bar, their own free children’s buffet attended by staff to look after them and their own magician who will be doing tricks all day long. There will also be cartoons on the television. In the main bar will be Pop’s Pattaya all Stars playing acoustic music in a jam session which welcomes all musicians.

The British and German Chambers in cooperation with Raimon Land Plc invite you to a joint BCCT/GTCC Networking Evening on The Eastern Seaboard on Friday 28th July from 6.30 pm at Northshore, Pattaya Soi 5 (Off Pattaya Beach Rd), Pattaya. Raimon Land is sponsoring beverages and snacks on a first-come, first-served basis from 6.30 pm. Non-BCCT and GTCC members will be charged THB 500 per person for entry to this event. Should they join the BCCT within three months they will receive a refund of THB 500 per company membership. Both chambers ask that members respect payment of the non-member fee on the part of any non-member guests they may be bringing.
