The two also signed an agreement between Burapha University and Seri Center Management Co., Ltd., to cooperate on academic affairs.

Chatchawal Supachayanont (front row, 3rd right), president of Thai Hotels Association Eastern Chapter recently presided over the announcement of the first THA Eastern Chapter Board Meeting 2006-2008. The meeting, which took place at Woodlands Resort, highlighted the appointment of 18 THA Eastern Chapter board members from Bangsean, Sriracha, Pattaya, Rayong, Chantaburi and Koh Chang. Also at the meeting were THA Eastern Chapter board members Bundarik Kusolvitya (front row, 2nd right), first vice president, and Alisa Phantusak (front row, 4th right), second vice president.


Thana Chairavinij, chairman of the Bangkok Metropolitan Council Thailand and Elisabet Yngstrom, executive chairman of Ragunda Municipality recently signed a student exchange agreement between Ragunda Municipality, Sweden in cooperation with Stjirdak Municipality, Norway and Bangkok Metropolitan Council, Thailand. The signing ceremony took place at the Watergate Ballroom of the Amari Watergate Hotel.


On a recent visit to Pattaya, Andrew J Wood (left), international councillor, Skål International Thailand invited friends for dinner at the new Mata Hari Restaurant. His guests included Ulf Buchert, director of passenger service for Eastern & Oriental Express, Cristina, the future Mrs. Raeuber, Dr. Iain & Som Corness, Peter Malhotra, Louis Noll, proprietor of Mata Hari, Ingo Raueber, GM of Pinnacle Resort and Peter Cummins the world-renowned yachting scribe.
