Malcolm Clare (The Root of All Evil) celebrates his 45th birthday with his friends at Jameson’s The Irish Pub. Malcolm’s birthday was on Thursday Feb. 9, but went on all weekend.


Achana Snitwongse Na Ayudhaya, managing director of the Montien Hotel, Pattaya recently hosted a birthday party for Mary Knight, a special guest. The party was held in the Marco Polo Chinese Restaurant at the Montien Hotel, Pattaya.


The German-Thai Chamber of Commerce converged on the Moon River Pub at the Thai Garden Resort on North Pattaya Road for their first meeting on this year’s schedule. Stefan Buerkle, representative of GTCC, welcomed the numerous guests and presented best wishes for the New Year.


Friends turn up in force to help warm the new family residence of Avninder Khanijou (2nd left), proprietor of Indian by Nature. The delightful touch of the occasion was the Indian food and Masala tea which were enjoyed by all.


Thailand’s professional tennis star Tamarine Tanasugarn (middle) was given a warm reception by Suree Pachana (left), director of rooms; and Oranuch Chantramala, rooms and guest service manager of Dusit Resort, Pattaya, upon her arrival. Tamarine was staying at the resort for the Pattaya Women’s Open, the WTA tournament held at the resort.


Sue and Peewee Cochlan celebrated Sue’s 60th birthday with around 50 guests at their home.
