H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn recently graciously accepted a charity donation in support of the Princess’s royal projects from the management of Dusit Resort, Pattaya led by Resident Manager Stefan Heintze, Waran Chalermritthichai, director of administration and Rattana Rattanaronnapa, director of accounting.


Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa held their annual Buddhist merit making ceremony, presided over by Supakit Thamsathitmun (center), Banglamung district governor; Somsak Tanruengsri (4th left back row), general manger, and Supadit Maneratjarusri (6th right), managing director of Royal Garden entertainment.


Celebrating Christmas and an early birthday was Andrew Wood and his mother Audrey at their holiday home in Pattaya. Joining the 20 or so friends at Andrew’s apartment in Jomtien were a number of well known faces from Pattaya, including a number of visitors from around the world.


Dr Valerie McKenzie (4th 2nd row) managing director of Thana Burin Asia Pacific Ltd, recently organized a Christmas and New Year fancy dress party for its staff at the Dusit Thani Hotel.


Lara Abou-Chakra celebrated her birthday recently at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort’s Rossini Restaurant with friends (from left to right): Akshay Singh, Kavita Singh, Chitra and Ranjith Chandrasiri, Fouad & Lara Abou-Chakra, Ritambra Singh, Anil Singh and Ruby Ariola who entertained the group with an array of fabulous songs.
 


FC Bayern Munich Fan Club led by Leander Schalinski (second right) and Torsten Hinz, made a 42,000 baht donation to the YWCA, received by Nittaya Patimasongkroh (left) and Elfi Seitz (right). The money will send poor children to school and provide them with at least one decent meal per day.


The Russian Orthodox Church celebrates Christmas on January 6th. .As has become tradition, the Russian church set up an altar at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort, and after the service enjoyed a wonderful buffet dinner around the pool with all the usual festive entertainment.
