to friends and customers of the FLB bar in Walking Street who combined their
resources from all over the world to sponsor an event for National Children’s
Day on Saturday January 14.

Pattaya’s new Immigration
office up and running
On-line visa extensions are one of the services offered by
the new Pattaya Immigration headquarters, which has just opened in extensive new
premises on Beach Road.
Pol Col Itthipol Ithisarnronachai, superintendent of Pattaya Immigration, on
January 10 opened the new headquarters building to reporters, inviting them on a
tour of the premises and describing future plans for the service.

Pattaya alive with color and excitement for a sunny, happy Children’s Day
Pattaya was alive with events and color on National Children’s Day,
with a host of activities taking place and thousands of children out
having a wonderful time. The grown-ups joining in were having nearly as
much fun themselves.

Navy to present 20 computers to officers’ children
The Coastal Protection and Air-Strike Division of the Royal Navy at
Sattahip has set up a committee to carry out a selection process of
children of low-ranking officers who have shown long-term loyalty,
perseverance, responsibility and discipline and who have imparted these
traits to their children, to be presented with computers.

Bowling teams set to vie for the 2006 Princess Soamsawalee Cup
Naklua-Pattaya Lions Club is working with city hall to stage a
fund-raising bowling competition in which teams will vie for the Princess
Soamsawalee Cup.
The competition will take place on February 26 at Bowling Plus, on Pattaya
Third Road opposite the Shell gasoline station.
