Carmen Marienberg (front row 4th left), executive assistant manager of Central Samui Beach Resort recently hosted a welcome dinner at the hotel’s Zico’s Brazillian Restaurant for a press group from Beijing during their trip to promote Koh Samui and Bangkok in the Chinese market. This trip was jointly organized by Beijing Lifestyle Advertising Co., Ltd, Thai Airways International Public Co., Ltd and Central Hotels and Resorts. All Smiles At L’Olivier’s French Restaurant in the Jomtien Complex, venue of the latest “monthly dinner” of the Pattaya City Expats Club. Some 23 diners enjoyed their excellent value-for-money dinners before moving on to other entertainment venues.


The “Unquenchables” rugby touring team, who completed another fine tour of Thailand without losing a game, celebrated with a full dress dinner at Jameson’s The Irish Pub.


The management of the Royal Garden Plaza, Pattaya led by Suvit Wattana, plaza manager, hosted a luncheon for forty orphans from the Banglamung Home for Boys. After the meal the boys had a souvenir picture taken with the plaza’s management and staff.
