Announcements

The Pattaya International Ladies Club will host their annual Holiday Bazaar at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort on October 8. PILC says, “All the stalls have now been sold out, and with many new vendors this year, as well as familiar faces from previous years, there should be a wide range of goods for anyone looking for unusual Christmas gifts and goodies.” There are still raffle tickets left, and you can get your book of raffle tickets from Judy Clausen, tel. 038-240-792 (home) or 01-650-6630 (mobile).

I-TIM, the International Hotel and Tourism Industry Management School, is now accepting applications for the two-year diploma in Hotel and Tourism Management commencing in January 2006. Minimum entry level is M.6 or high school. All nationalities welcome. Each year includes a five month internship with placement available in all tourist destinations including Pattaya. Clubs

Gary Hacker, one of the wardens for members of the US here in Pattaya, will speak at the Pattaya City Expats Club meeting on Sunday October 2 at 10.30 at Henry J. Bean’s Restaurant in the grounds of the Amari Orchid Resort on North Pattaya Beach Road. He will talk about the United States Embassy procedures and especially how to get a visa for friends and girl friends to visit the States. Buffet Breakfast available from 9.30, everyone welcome to attend this meeting free. The Pattaya City Expats Club is always pleased to welcome visitors and those who have recently moved here. An informal gathering with no pressure from anyone with anything to sell, just come and enjoy the company of fellow expats and pick up useful information on how to live here legally and happily. Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) E.S. Hamilton Post 9876 officially meets the second Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Hog’s Breath Saloon, Soi Batman.
