Senior executives from the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Annual
Conference Organizing Committee recently paid an inspection visit to the Royal
Cliff Beach Resort prior to the arrival of the Annual Conference in April
2006. Committee Chairman Tunku Iskandar (front row, left) was welcomed by Panga
Vathanakul (front row, 2nd left), MD of the Royal Cliff Beach Resort and a
group of top resort executives. This is the first of a series of site visits
that will allow the PATA Conference organizers to assess the Royal Cliff Beach
Resort’s readiness to host the prestigious event.
The International Road Federation, in co-operation with the
Ministry of Transport of Thailand and Roads Association of Thailand, recently
organised for the first time in Asia-Pacific the 15th
International Road Federation (IRF) 2005 and Intertraffic Asia 2005 Exhibition
at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). Manfred
