The Pattaya International Ladies Club will hold their June Coffee Morning on June 21 at “The Royal A-One Cruise Hotel” on the 9th floor in the Rachanavee Room. Starting time 10:30 a.m., no reservation needed.

The Irish Society of Pattaya meets every Monday from 6 p.m. at Maggie May’s Bar in Soi Chaiyapoon. Free buffet and Guinness at 100. For more information email: [email protected]

The Pattaya City Expats Club meets every Sunday at Henry J. Bean’s restaurant in the grounds of the Amari Resort on North Beach Road. Each week a special guest is invited to speak and there is always an opportunity for members and their guests to ask questions of the speaker or other members of the club about any aspects of living and visiting Thailand. The meetings are conducted in a relaxed and informal way and are the source of much useful information and an excellent place to meet other expats. Meetings start at 10.30 a.m. and there is a breakfast buffet available from 9.30 a.m. onwards. Meetings are free and open to all - just pay for your breakfast! Parking is available in front of the restaurant. During the week informal meetings are held for discussion, writers, computers and much more! The Rotary Club Eastern Seaboard’s weekly luncheon meeting is at Pattaya Marriott Resort & Spa. Meetings are on Tuesdays, beginning at 12:30. President: Martin Brands [email protected] mobile 01 795 76476.

The Lions Tour of New Zealand and Tropical Bert’s, Beach Road and Soi Regent Marina, seem to go together so on Saturdays at 2 p.m. and for the duration of the tour they’ve moved one of the TVs outside to the beer garden so whilst you watch the game you can still keep an eye on the beach! There’s also a dish out of free jumbo hot dogs at half time. Sundays is the League Quiz whilst Monday is the “In House Fun Quiz” and of course Tuesday it’s Golf Day, meet at 8 a.m. for free breakfast and with a free meal when you return it’s a great value day.
