The main speaker at the Pattaya City Expats Club on Sunday June 5 will be Thor Halland with Part 2 of the History of Siam. His interesting and informative presentation of the first part of the early history, of what we have come to know as Thailand, was so well received that the organizing committee have been asked to schedule Thor’s second part earlier than expected. The meeting will also have a special presentation from “Rancho Texas”. Carl Kull from New Mexico will talk about setting up a business and getting the appropriate government approval. He will talk about the various varieties of pickles and salsa that are processed by his company. As usual there will be a chance to ask questions of the presenters and a chance to ask for or share information in the open forum session. Everyone welcome – meeting free and open to all. The Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) Thailand will celebrate the formation on Saturday, June 4 at the PowerStation Motor Sport, Bangkok. The Harley Owners Groupฎ (H.O.G.) is an organization founded and sponsored by Harley-Davidsonฎ Motor Company. The purpose of the local chapter shall be to promote responsible motorcycling activities for Harley Owners Group members by conducting chapter activities and encouraging participation in other H.O.G. events. The Thailand Chapter activities and operations shall be conducted in a same manner consistent with a family-oriented, non-political philosophy. The ride will leave at 10 a.m. from PowerStation and go via Chachoengsao onto the ACE Café in Jomtien for lunch at 1 p.m. For the Harley Riders located in the Chonburi area, you are welcome to join for lunch and join the ride up to Bangkok for the party.
