Hundreds of thousands invade Pattaya for International Music Festival 2005
Young was the opening act for this year’s Pattaya International Music
Festival. Hundreds of thousands of fans, somewhat less than the 1 million that
promoters predicted, crowded onto Beach Road over the weekend to see their
favorite rock stars.

Residents encouraged to report suspected drug activities
Government’s war on drugs,
phase 4, to begin April 1
Phase 4 of the government’s war on drugs is scheduled to
begin April 1, and locally, Banglamung district residents are being encouraged
to report drug related activities to the Banglamung Drug Operations Center.
The center has outlined a “road map” plan to defeat the
drug problem within the district. The plan is to gather information from
residents and members of the community. These residents are being encouraged to
report suspected drug activities to relevant officials with the aim to reduce
the drug problem where it no longer presents a danger to society.

Patron Saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. All over the world, similar
festivities marked St. Paddy’s day, with green hair, green beer, green
faces, green shoes, green shirts and lots of people muttering “Begorrah,
to be sure, to be sure!”

Postma, to win the two-person Nacra National Championship of Thailand while
Gary Baguley, with a telling win in the long-distance race, constituting the
fourth of the four-race series, fought off Les Nyerges, to take out the
single-handed division title.
