HRH Princess Soamsawali graciously presided over the presentation of the RGP Family Rally trophies to the winners of this charity function. Pratana Manomaiphiboon, chief financial officer of the Royal Garden Resort Co., Ltd., presented the funds raised from this event to the Princess in support of the Thai Red Cross project: “To help save a child from AIDS”. Royal Garden Plaza Pattaya organized this charity family rally to commemorate HM the Queen’s birthday.


Mayor Pairat Suthithamrongsawat with Chanyuth Hengtrakul, Ministry of Sports and Tourism advisor, recently presided over the grand opening of Siamkomintr Co., Ltd., in Pattaya City.

Stuart MacDonnell (standing 5th from left), associated producer of “Talk of the Town”, an educational program on Channel 3, led a group of disabled students from Redemptorist Vocational School for the Disabled to visit Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum Pattaya and watched stimulator movies in 3-D, while filming a special segment on Pattaya City. Ripley’s own public relations manager Vichai Lertlitrichai (standing far left) welcomed the students and the film crew.


The management of the Montien Hotel, Pattaya, led by executive assistant manager Pakorn Srisook, held their annual “Fire Prevention” training for the hotel’s staff, with cooperation from the Pattaya City fire brigade.


Disabled tourists from America, led by Ms. Lauren Van Horn, member of the advisory board of Northwest Airlines, Ms. Andrea West, president of the Barrier-Free Consulting and Robert Gearing, member of the board of directors of the National Tour Association, came for the ‘Barrier-Free Thailand Project: Seminar for Hoteliers and Tour Operators’, which was held at Royal Cliff Beach Resort, Pattaya. While here, they also visited the “Long Stay” project at Diana Garden Resort, under the control of Sopin Thappajug, managing director of the Diana Group, which is the first traveling project for disabled tourists.
