The Pattaya City Expats Club meets every Sunday

The following day Saturday, August 16, interested persons
are encouraged to take part in the Volunteer English Teaching at
Ban Khao Huai Mahad School, Ban Chang, Rayong. AustCham Thailand
sponsors a number of schools in Rayong Province. Part of this support includes
the provision of English language classes, which are conducted by volunteers
from our community. Volunteers work with small groups of children aged between
5 and 12 years and play simple games and activities which encourage the
children to use the English language. No prior teaching experience is
necessary, just a lot of enthusiasm! This day, working with the children is a
most rewarding experience. The Chamber provides transportation to and from the
schools along with lunch and refreshments.
The El Coyote Yacht Club is holding a charity
fund-raising night tonight Friday August 15 in support of the Baan Jing Jai
children’s orphanage. A lavish buffet will be on offer and live music
will entertain the crowd all evening. Sponsored drinks will be on offer for
the early comers and fund-raising games will be going all night long. Come
