Clubs

UK Club Of Pattaya will be meeting every Saturday for a social get together at the following venues: Saturday August 9 at the Pig & Whistle, Soi 7, Saturday August 16 at Yorkies Pork Platter Jomtien; Saturday August 23 at Sportsman Inn, Soi 13 and Saturday August 30 at the Bangsaray Club. Meetings will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. All are welcome!

Pattaya Motorcycle Club. Are you a motorcycle enthusiast who wants to meet, socialize and ride with other motorcycle enthusiasts? No matter what nationality you are and what motorcycle you ride? The Moon River Pub’s Beer Promotion is still going on. Every guest receives a beer card for each liter of beer they buy. After consuming 9 liters of beer you will get one liter free of charge (every liter of beer that has been ordered will be marked on the card). The card is valid for 3 months. A special event to mark Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s sixth cycle Birthday is being arranged on the forecourt of Mike Department Store off 2nd Road. 73 monks will be gathered at 6 a.m. and Mayor Pairat will commence the ceremony at 6.30 a.m. to make merit for Her Majesty’s 72nd birthday.

Join the Jesters and El Coyote Yacht Club Patrons to support a fun new way to help the Pledge for Kids charity drive on Saturday August 9 at 3 p.m. All previous pledge patrons and any new pledge donors will get their chance to go on “The Ride of Your Life” on a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by a real Jester in colors. You will also get a photo of you on the Harley that will be signed by the Jester, and a beautiful certificate to take home identifying that you went on “The Ride of Your Life”. Of course all proceeds go to the Jesters Pledge for Kids and Care for Kids fundraising programs. The following day Saturday, August 16, interested persons are encouraged to take part in the Volunteer English Teaching at Ban Khao Huai Mahad School, Ban Chang, Rayong. AustCham Thailand sponsors a number of schools in Rayong Province. Part of this support includes the provision of English language classes, which are conducted by volunteers from our community. Volunteers work with small groups of children aged between 5 and 12 years and play simple games and activities which encourage the children to use the English language. No prior teaching experience is necessary, just a lot of enthusiasm! This day, working with the children is a most rewarding experience. The Chamber provides transportation to and from the schools along with lunch and refreshments

Art Classes at the Art Caf้! Kittikoon Sirichantr, a young artist who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Chiang Mai, offers art classes for children during the school holidays. Techniques include pencil, water paint, pastel scratching and more. The hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday - Friday and include all working materials as well as lunch. Spoken language is English.
