Amari Orchid Resort’s general manager, Dominik Stamm, and executive assistant manager, Orapin Musiknavabutr recently welcomed two popular singers, Ooh Tannatorn and Floate on their visit to Amari Orchid Resort during their trip to Pattaya to promote the duo’s latest album.


Achana Snitwongse Na Ayudhaya (center), managing director of the Montien Hotel, Pattaya recently donated funds to construct a school building, hosted a birthday party lunch and donated stationery and other supplies to Mabfakthong School in Chonburi Province.


The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) UAE and Middle East office recently organized a familiarization trip for eleven senior journalists from the Gulf region. The familiarization trip was one of many that has been organized recently by the TAT to boost tourism to Thailand following declining visitor numbers due to the SARS crisis and the conflict in the Middle East. The group of journalists was accompanied by the TAT’s regional manager for UAE and Middle East, Adnan Abou Hijab (standing, 5th left) and welcomed to the Royal Cliff Beach Resort by director of sales, Victor Kriventsov (standing, 4th left) and communications manager, Zahid Ali (standing, far right).


Uniliver Limited Liability Company recently held a “ Goodness Rally”, which began in Bangkok and finished at the Ambassador City Jomtien Hotel.


General manager of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! (Thailand), Somporn Naksuetrong (left) and general manager of the Mall Department Store, Bangkapi, Vachanee Siraprapa (right) presented a Ripley’s Certificate of Recognition and 20,000 baht cash to the winner of “The Mall 2nd Annual Chili Eating Contest”, Somchai Rattanrueng (center), for eating the most amount of chili in 12 minutes.
