Kamnan Poh’s Birthday attracts large turnout

Kamnan Poh is mobbed by reporters on the occasion of his 59th birthday.

September 30th marked the 59th birthday of Somchai Khunpluem, better known as Kamnan Poh. Khun Somchai is the Mayor of Saen Sook, Bangsaen, which he has developed into a thriving tourist resort. He has done valuable work in developing Bangsaen’s road system and is known for helping the disadvantaged and those in distress. There is never a “No” from Kamnan Somchai when he is asked for help.
So it is no surprise that his birthday festivities were attended by people from all parts of society. Government officials, private business people, and the general public were all in attendance to wish the Kamnan the happiest of birthdays.
The Kamnan’s table groaned under every possible type of food and his liquor cabinet would have made Bacchus himself a bit jealous. There were gifts and prizes for everyone.
The Kamnan seemed totally relaxed as he took some time off from his duties. He is well known for supervising and being part of the work teams that keep Saen Sook clean and sparkling, but this night was Kamnan Somchai’s night and he was the perfect host to all who came to wish him a happy birthday.
