Manaswin “Tik Shiro” Nanthasaen provided the motivational speech while Dr. Somsak Lhorwattanapongsa from Pattaya Hospital got into the biology of love. Both spoke about the dangers of teenage and premarital sexual activity.
Mana Yaprakhan, president of the Pattaya Cultural Council, spoke about the cultural implications while Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome talked about the responsibility youths have in the community.
Manaswin spoke about dating, changing partners, breaking up and its effects on youths’ lifestyles. Mana, meanwhile, talked about how international values affect Thai traditions.
Somsak, a gynecologist, listed the adverse effects on health from having sex before teens are fully mature and how best to prevent pregnancy and disease.
