Events

The next Pattaya City Expats Club (PCEC) meeting will be held on Sunday, August 17.  Everyone is warmly welcome.  The speaker will be Dr. Watanachai Bangken, Orthopedist at Phyathai Sriracha Hospital.  His topic will be on “shoulder rotator cuff injuries.”  There will also be a nurse to do free blood pressure checks for members and guests.  The Club meets every Sunday morning at the Tavern by the Sea restaurant located on the north end of Beach Road (part of the Amari Orchid Resort).  The program starts as usual at 10:30 a.m. with a buffet breakfast available from 9 to 11 a.m.

The East Pattaya Annual Buffalo Races will be held on Sunday 17th August from 8:00 a.m. onwards.  The event will take place on Siam Country Club Road by Lake Mab­prachan and Khao Po Thong Temple.  The day’s events will include a buffalo beauty pageant, Miss Farmer beauty contest, comic buffalo costume contest, rides for children and concerts of folk music.  There will also be food and handicrafts stalls offering authentic Thai food and souvenirs.
