City urges Thepprasit Soi 7 residents to be patient over construction

Tu Sodope of Thaiwat SG Construction Co. asks residents to be patient, as the work is almost done.

Pattaya officials are asking Thepprasit Soi 7 residents for more patience as a construction company completes a project to lay new underground water-drainage pipe.
Deputy Mayor Verawat Khakhay met with Tu Sodope of Thaiwat SG Construction Co. June 10 to relay complaints from affected homeowners and businesses about the long-running construction. He urged Thaiwat SG to wrap up work as quickly as possible.
The firm has been expanding the drainage system in the Jomtien Beach area by laying 2-by-2-meter square pipes underground from Thepprasit Soi 7 to Wat Boonkanjanaram Soi 4, totaling 2.218 kilometers. As of June 10, 1.7 km had been laid.
After brainstorming for the solutions to the problems together with the residents, the city asked residents to have more patience as the last 550 meters are laid. At the same time, it told Thaiwat SG executives to hurry, as the worst of the rainy season is rapidly approaching.
