Vittaya Yoondorn
More than 200 bicyclists rolled through Pattaya in TOT (Public) Co.’s
“Cycling for Health” bike-a-thon.
Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh and TOT regional sales manager Prajak Manojanphen
kicked off the race April 7 at the TOT customer service center on Beach Road.
Riders followed Central Road to Third Road, turning north to city hall, around
the Dolphin Roundabout and down to Bali Hai Pier before turning east and
crossing the finish line at the TOT center on Third Road. The 11-kilometer route
took about 50 minutes, with the city providing police escort and ambulances to
lead and trail riders.
Prajak said the event, cosponsored by Numchai Electronics and the Pattaya
Cycling Club, was organized to showcase the vibrancy of Pattaya, in which the
company is investing heavily to make it an information technology hub.
