Brother Denis Gervais C.Ss.R. (holding certificate), vice president of the Father Ray Foundation receives a posthumous award on behalf of the late Father Raymond Brennan from Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome (right). The late Father Ray Brennan, an American Redemptorist priest who founded several social projects for underprivileged children and students with disabilities, was an outstanding citizen of the city. Also in attendance were Father Peter Pattarapong Srivorakul C.Ss.R. (left), and Father Michael Picharn Jaiseri C.Ss.R. (second left), president and vice president of the Father Ray Foundation respectively. Father Ray passed away in 2003 and since then the Father Ray Foundation has continued his work and currently cares for more than 850 needy children, blind students and young adults with disabilities.


Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh (4th left) presided over the 1st Pattaya Pet Variety Show: World of Little Pets held at the Royal Garden Plaza recently. Joining him were Pannita Varnakovit (3rd left), Marketing Director for Minor International PCL; Aum Attichart Chumnanont, Somporn Naksuetrong, vice president of Royal Garden Plaza & Entertainment, and Parida Vimolpand, General Manager of the Royal Garden Plaza Ltd., along with other lovely body painted pets of many breeds.


Sripassorn Buangsruang, who was recently crowned Miss Qipao 2013 at the Chinese New Year celebrations, paid a courtesy call on Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome to thank him for all his support of the event and many other cultural activities in Pattaya throughout the year.


Thirakiati Chirathivat (3rd right), Vice President - Procurement of Centara Hotels & Resorts, organised a party to celebrate the 71st birthday of Suthikiati Chirathivat (5th right), Chairman of the Board of Centara Hotels & Resorts at the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort, Pattaya recently. Family and friends joined in the celebrations. Amongst them were Sang Wongpreecha, Andre Brulhart, Mukda Uahwattanasakul, Thirakiati - Panumas Chirathivat, Somkamol Vejjajiwa, Khunying Suchitra Mongkolkiti, Dr. Philippe Balankura, Prasert Tangtrongsakdi, Supakorn Vejjajiwa including the new generation of Chirathivats.


Chatchawal Supachayanont (centre), GM of Dusit Thani Pattaya together with his management team celebrated the hotel’s latest achievement: receiving the ‘Certificate of Five Leaves’ presented by the Green Leaf Foundation (Thailand) recently. The award is in recognition of the hotel’s excellent management of its green practices and initiatives. The Certificate of Five Leaves is the highest recognition that signifies outstanding performance and Dusit Thani Pattaya has been enjoying the accolade since 2003. Earlier, the hotel was also awarded the Silver Certification Status from Earth Check after it successfully sustained its first Silver Status two years ago.

Penrung Jintanamaneerat (right), Director of Retail Outlets for King Power, along with senior management and with the help of superstar Ken Phupoom (2nd right) drew prizes worth more than 200,000 baht for their lucky shoppers during the ‘Summer Sale Smashing’ program recently. An iPad was also awarded to the shopper who spent more than anyone else.


Capital Market Academy Class 15 President Somchai Bulsook inducted new members and presented Panga Vathanakul, Royal Cliff Managing Director and fellow CMA alumni, with a beautiful bouquet to symbolize his gratitude for her generous contribution during induction ceremonies for CMA Class 16 held at PEACH (Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall) recently. Capital Market Academy is under the sponsorship of the Stock Exchange of Thailand. This prestigious institute was established on April 29, 1995 for the purpose of educating senior executives about economy and the capital markets. Their dynamic vision includes corporate leadership, and the roles business plays in society.
