The stars will align March 23-29 when the Amari Orchid Resort & Tower joins with Central Department Stores for their second Astrology Week.
Top astrologers and fortunetellers will converge upon three area Central malls to help raise money for local schools. Amari Assistant General Manager Latiporn Thongkunna and Pattaya City Councilman Rattanachai Sutidechanai, along with top local Central executives joined Astrologer Institute head Pornsukh Pengmanee at the North Pattaya hotel March 4 to announce the event.
Sponsors said the success of last year’s event prompted another astrology week to be held this year. The funds will be added to the Amari’s charity fund and used to sponsor the One Baht for Life Foundation and upgrades for Ban Nern Dindaeng School.
Soothsayers will begin their journey at Central Chonburi March 23-24 and move on to Central Festival Pattaya Beach March 25-26 and Central Center March 28-29. All fortunetellers will work from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Attendees can partake in forecasts from astrologers with more than 10 years experience and hear lectures from Pornsuk and others. For more information, call the Amari at 038-418-418 ext 690.
