A Russian woman narrowly escaped injury after her Toyota burst into
flames following a collision with a tour bus.
Firefighters took about 15 minutes to extinguish the flames that engulfed
Leyla Bolpynov’s Vios Feb. 22. No one in the Sunlon tour bus, with which she
collided, was injured.
Bus driver Veerasak Dee-asa, 49, said he saw Bolpynov coming toward him at
high speed on Pratamnak Road and that she was swerving all over the road. He
said he tried to avoid the car, but Bolpynov smashed into the front of the
coach and bounced onto the roadside, where it burst into flames.
Veerasak told police he saw at least 4 other people escape Bolpynov’s car
after it crashed.
