
PATTAYA, Thailand – Pattaya City is ensuring that young athletes stay engaged and active through a variety of sports competitions, fostering both skill development and a spirit of sportsmanship. As part of its commitment to promoting youth sports, Pattaya is co-hosting six sports events in the 40th National Youth Games – “Chalarm Yawachon Games”, which run from March 23 to April 3.
On March 30, Deputy Mayor Kritsana Boonsawad presided over the awards ceremony for the stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) competition, held at Jomtien Beach’s water sports arena.
The SUP competition featured various categories, including 2-kilometer relay races and 200-meter sprints for both men and women, drawing talented athletes from across Thailand. It was one of the many exciting events scheduled under the National Youth Games, which Pattaya is co-hosting.
The remaining four competitions taking place in Pattaya include:
Indoor Volleyball – March 23 to April 3 at Pattaya City School 7 (Nong Pang Khae)
Beach Volleyball – March 23 to April 3 at Pattaya Beach (near Hard Rock Hotel)
Indoor Handball – March 23 to April 2 at Pattaya City School 11 (Mathayom Sathit)
Beach Handball – March 23 to April 2 at Pattaya Beach (near Basaya Beach Hotel & Resort)
