PATTAYA, Thailand – Operation “Dragon Hills” kicked off at dawn, Monday, 14 July with 13 intrepid golfers boarding the MyBar convoy at 7 a.m. Spirits were high, socks were dry, and Dragon Hills looked stunning enough to star in a travel ad.

By the turn, mother nature had other plans: Flight 1 braved torrential rain on the back nine, while Flights 2 and 3 sensibly retreated. Despite the weather’s plot twist, our soaked survivors finished heroically.

A sunlit finale at the stunning Grand Prix Golf Club on Wednesday, 16 July —though not without drama: a rogue alarm clock almost cost us a player. The course, as picturesque as it was punishing, demanded precision.

Sam Jeffery finally took top spot with a composed 40 points, chased by Allan Cassin, who blended fine scoring with a few muttered complaints. Willem Lasonder, ever the good sport, collected the spoon.
