PHISANULOK 10 March 2014 Two districts in Phisanulok province have been declared drought afflicted zones.
The ongoing drought in the country has prompted Phisanulok province to declare two of its districts drought afflicted zones.
Since the beginning of March, Phisanulok province has been affected by the worst drought in years. As the locals in two districts– Chattrakarn and Prompiram, have been affected the most, the province yesterday announced the two districts drought-hit areas.
So far over 20,000 locals have been affected by the drought . Officials are now working hard to disburse emergency funds to help alleviate the plight of the affected in the province.
