Bangkok – Their Majesties the King and Queen have expressed their concern for the citizens who sustained injuries in the bomb attacks in the Thai capital last week. Air Marshal Pakdee, on behalf of Their Majesties, presented vases of flowers and gift baskets to the five injured people at various hospitals. The casualties are as follows:

Ekkarin Yongsantia, injured in a blast under a bridge near the Chong Nonsi BTS station. He is being treated at Saint Louis Hospital.

Chanajai Lohmud, a King Power employee, sustained a right foot injury in the blast near the Chong Nonsi BTS station.

Sasinipha Phethonglang, injured in an explosion that went off on Rama IX Road. She is now being treated for ear injuries at Vibharam Hospital.

Disna Phongsaidee, a Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) employee, suffered burns as well as eye and ear injuries following the blast on Rama IX Road. She is being treated at Sirindhorn Hospital.

Sunthorn Rodsianglam, a BMA employee, also suffered eye and ear injuries in the explosion.

After receiving the royally bestowed gifts, the injured expressed their gratitude to Their Majesties the King and Queen for giving them moral support at this difficult time.
