The Election Commission confirms the referendum will be held only on February 8, 2026, with no advance voting. Voters outside their registered area or overseas may register to vote from January 3–5, 2026.

BANGKOK, Thailand – The Election Commission of Thailand reiterates that referendum voting will be held exclusively on February 8, 2026, and there will be no advance voting.

Those unable to return to their registered area or living outside Thailand may register to vote in the referendum from January 3 to 5, 2026. Voter registration is available through three channels: in person at district or local registrars during office hours, by mail with a postmark dated January 3 to 5, 2026, or online via the official system. Online registration closes automatically at 12 A.M. on January 5, 2026, Thailand time.
