BANGKOK, Thailand – The government is inviting the public to take part in the “Proud to Wear Thai Attire Nationwide” activity to promote national identity and cultural heritage. The campaign calls on people across the country to showcase Thai culture through traditional dress.

Led by the Ministry of Culture under Minister Sabeeda Thaised, the activity is open to all ages and genders. Participants can wear traditional Thai clothing, adapted designs, or Thai fabrics in styles that express individuality without restrictions.

Officials said the effort helps expand the use of Thai attire in daily life while raising international recognition of Thai culture through visible public participation.

The main event will take place today (Mar 31) at 4 p.m. at the Fashion Hall on the first floor of Siam Paragon in Bangkok, where participants will gather to present Thai attire as part of the nationwide campaign. (NNT)
