
BANGKOK, Thailand – Thailand has been ranked the top culinary destination in the world for 2025 by readers of Condé Nast Traveller. Announced by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the country received a leading score of 98.33 in the publication’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards, placing it ahead of other major food destinations.
Rounding out the top 10 were Italy, Japan, Vietnam, Spain, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Greece, South Africa, and Peru. The recognition highlights Thailand’s global appeal for its rich culinary traditions, regional diversity, and flavorful cuisine.
Adding to the achievement, seven Bangkok restaurants were named among the Top 35 Best Restaurants in the World this year, further cementing Thailand’s reputation as a world-class destination for both food lovers and international travelers. (NNT)
