Pattana Promphat, Minister of Public Health, launches the Mor Prom SUPER APP at Chonburi Hospital, marking the first rollout in Health Region 6 as Thailand expands a nationwide digital health platform aimed at reducing hospital congestion, shortening waiting times, and easing workloads for medical staff.

CHONBURI, Thailand – Public Health Minister Pattana Promphat has launched the Mor Prom SUPER APP at Chonburi Hospital, inaugurating the first rollout in Health Region 6. The platform, which modernizes Thailand’s healthcare system through digital technology, supports the policy of reducing medical staff workload while cutting patient waiting times by linking services across the health network.

The upgraded application expands the original Mor Prom app—previously used mainly for disease prevention by more than 30 million people—into a fully integrated digital health platform. It connects data from public hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, enabling users to access medical records, drug allergy information, and laboratory results through a single, secure system accessible from anywhere.

First introduced in January 2026, the Mor Prom SUPER APP includes 12 core functions, including online appointment booking, telemedicine consultations, digital medical certificates, online payments, health coverage verification, and insurance claims. Additional features include appointment reminders, real-time queue tracking, access to treatment history, and electronic referral documents. At Chonburi Hospital, patients can schedule services across a wide range of clinics, including dental, rehabilitation, chronic disease, and traditional Thai medicine.

The public health ministry has also launched a program to enhance digital skills among Village Health Volunteers in Health Region 6 to support broader community use of the system. The platform is expected to ease hospital congestion, allow healthcare personnel to dedicate more time to patient care, and improve convenience for the public.

Future development will link the system with external agencies through the ministry’s national digital health ecosystem under strict data governance and cybersecurity standards. Partnerships with universities and private-sector organizations will support further expansion, including the integration of artificial intelligence tools, with the long-term goal of establishing Mor Prom as a comprehensive national health platform.
